Kathy Lauti Fonokalafi: May 12, 1980 - September 12, 2010

Kathy Lauti Fonokalafi passed away, smiling, on Sunday, September 12, 2010, while in the comfort of ther loved ones.  She was 30 years old.  Born in Tongatapu, Tonga Islands on May 19, 1980, she was the daughter of Sione and Kathleen Holder Lauti.  Kathy spent her childhood in Vava'u, Tonga Island.  She is the fourth child  out of thirteen.  At the age of 16, her family moved to Utah, where she attended Highland High School.  She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served her mission in Carlsbad, California. 
On October 11, 2003, she married Tevita Fonokalafi at the Bountiful Temple in Utah.  She was a proud mother of three daughters, Mileini age 5, 'Otili age 4, and Leihua age 1.  Kathy was a very hardworker, and she was full of patience, kidness, love, and quick to forgive.  She had a strong belief in God, and that families can be together forever.  
Kathy is survived by her parents, step mom ('Akanete), husband, three daughters, four sisters, two sister in laws, eight brothers, four half brothers, two brother in laws, six nephews, and five nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted at any Zion's Bank under the Kathy Lauti Fonokalafi Donation.
